Responsible Mineral Exploration in Haines, Alaska

Community

Community

Constantine has been a proud member of the Chilkat Valley communities while actively exploring the Palmer Project since 2006.

All employees and contractors are encouraged to unlock opportunities where our company resources will create local benefits. Charitable contributions to nonprofit organizations, volunteering time to local events, and sponsoring high school graduates through our scholarship selection and awards are some of the programs we annually support.

Local Investment

Being a proud community member means being an active community member. 60% of our fulltime staff in 2024 live in the region and some of those positions are fulltime year-round. Our local procurement policy means we look at local options first for goods and services before looking elsewhere in Alaska or the lower 48.

Local employees are the best investment Constantine can make. Southeast Alaskans are among the most dependable employees we have, with ingenuity and a knack for getting things done safety and efficiently. Local employment also ensures the economic benefits from the Palmer Project support community initiatives through their own local spending. Local employees also ensure all of us at Palmer are advancing the project responsibly, with a vested interest in maintaining and enhancing the local environment.
